Launched back in the previous Millennium, Van Finder and Van Locator, (then called Van Buyer) hit the streets of London & the South East.  23rd March 1999 was the date that van dealers and private sellers were first given their own dedicated magazine.  Such was the success of the magazine that it was soon rolled out into new regions - the Midlands and then the North of England, closely followed by the West and South West.

With the internet still in its infancy, magazines were the only real way of finding a bargain van for sale in the UK.  In its ten-year history, Van Buyer has spilt into two new brands - Van Finder , available at petrol stations and other locations across the country for pick up free of charge and sister brand, Van Locator, available at thousands of newsagents across the country - priced just £1.
